Low water absorption GPO-3 sheet used in Switch cabinet

Product Introduction:

GPO-3 laminated sheet was made of fiberglass and polyester resin the fiberglass was impregnated in polyester resin with the aluminium hydroxide material and then press under the high temperature & pressure by machine. It has the performance of very low water absorption , the water absorption is below 0.005% .

As we known , water will caused insulation performance lower . It will damage the electrical equipments once the insulation material with higher water absortion . For example , metro is always underground . Underground means humidity range is widely . If the property of absorption resistance is not good enough , it will be very easy fault and even scrap for the whole electrical equipment . As soon as we know , the main filler material of GPO-3 sheet are calcarea carbonica or aluminium hydroxide . Our GPO-3 material uses aluminium hydroxide as the filler material although production cost is higher than calcarea carbonica , but the warter absorption is lower , it will more safety when the equipment running In This Working Environment .

1. It is very high mechanical property material , the tensile can reach to more than 160MPA according to IEC test standard .
2. This GPO-3 material is excellent Electrical Performance material , the arc resistance of it reaches more than 180 seconds.

5. Working temperature range is very widely , the temperature index of this materials is from -270 to 155 degree centigrade , it can adjust to very low and high temperature when running.
6. It has the advantages on low smoke material and halogen free which is more safety when running in the assembly occupancies. 

Application of product:

1. GPO-3 laminated sheet and machined parts are application to Switch cabinet in rail traffic , such as metro , CRH train , high speed rail etc. most of them are used as the insulation sheet , insulation support , bus-bar clamp and cover plate in Switch cabinet , because it has very excellent properties on absorption resistance , electrical and mechanical . The most important is good arc performance , further more the materials with the advantages with low smoke , non-poisonous , halogen free and good fire resistance with EN45545 certificate .
